OUR VISIONOUR BELIEFSOUR MISSIONOUR VALUES

Our Vision Statement.....
We are presence driven in our focus and purpose determined in our faith, to release an oasis, a place of refreshing, renewal and relationships; investing in a spiritual adventure to reach those who still need to drink from “…the wells of salvation...” and who need “…times of refreshing…” (Isaiah 12:3, Acts 3:19)

We Believe.....

  • The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
  • There is one God, eternally existent in three persons:  God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost (2 Corinthians 13:14).
  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years (Matthew 16:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3,4).
  • In the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the Church, at Christ's coming (Titus 2:13).
  • The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:18, 19).
  • Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (John 3:3-5).
  • The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer (1 Peter 2:24).
  • The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it (Acts 2:39).
  • In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Galatians 5:16).
  • In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (John 5:28, 29).

Our Mission.....

REACHING people for Jesus, RECRUITING them into the family of God, RAISING them up into maturity for the purpose of REALIZING their destiny and RELEASING them into ministry, while REJOICING in the Lord bringing glory and honor to His name!

REACHING people for Jesus - EVANGELISM
Building relationships with the unsaved, servant evangelism (showing God's love in a practicial way).  Getting involved in the community.  Power evangelism, sponsoring special services with an emphasis on healing, miracles, signs and wonders.  Sponsoring special events and outreaches, as the Holy Spirit leads.

RECRUITING them into the family of God - MEMBERSHIP
Encouraging small group involvement and relationship building, vision casting, task and ministry involvement, and membership classes.

RAISING them up into maturity and help them in realizing their destiny - DISCIPLESHIP
Preaching and teaching the word of God at service times, small groups, retreats, and one-on-one.  Helping them to discover their spiritual gifts, talents, and callings.

RELEASING them - MINISTRY
Creating opportunities of ministry in the local body and abroad, as well as encouraging them to minister in the community and market place.  Every member is a minister.

REJOICING in the Lord - WORSHIP
Creating special times of corporate celebration throughout the week and creating an atmosphere of praise and worship when we come together that will usher in the manifestation of God's presence and a demonstration of His power.

We Value.....

THE PRESENCE OF GOD—HOLY SPIRIT
• Realizing that the greatest commandment is to love the Lord God with all of our heart, soul and mind, we will seek to honor, revere and pursue God’s presence in our lives through intimate prayer and communion with Him and praise and worship to Him.

THE PERSPECTIVE AND PURPOSES OF GOD—WORD OF GOD
• Realizing that the written word of God is the expression of His heart to us, we will give ourselves to the study of God’s word to discover more about God and how He views us and the world that we live in.  We will discover and fulfill God’s plans for us in this world and our purpose on this earth.

THE PEOPLE OF GOD---BODY OF CHRIST
• Realizing that God made man in His image and that the second greatest commandment is to love our neighbor as ourselves, we are called to live in unity with one another in the body of Christ.  Where there is unity, God commands a blessing. We will honor and value people of all backgrounds, walks of life, nationalities, ages and social status. We will commit ourselves to walking in fellowship and unity with one another.

THE PASSION OF GOD--EVANGELISM
• Realizing that Jesus came to seek and save those that were lost and that the great commandment is to go and make disciples of all nations, we will commit ourselves to evangelizing the world and disciple the believer.

THE PURITY OF GOD--HOLINESS
• Realizing that God demands holiness and godliness by the help of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God, we will strive to live holy lives and pursue the nature and characteristics of Christ Jesus our Lord.

THE PROMISES OF GOD--FAITH
• Realizing that without faith it is impossible to please God and that through the knowledge of God we have been given great and precious promises and that through these promises we may be partakers of His divine nature, escaping the corruption of the flesh.  We commit to discover the promises of God and pursue them through a loving relationship with Him and obedience to His word.

THE POWER OF GOD—THE SUPERNATURAL
• Realizing that the ministry of Jesus and the apostles was authenticated by the manifestation of God’s power, we will commit ourselves to a ministry of miracles, signs and wonders and demonstration of God’s power.

THE PATTERN OF GOD--GOVERNMENT
• Realizing that we are of a kingdom of spiritual authority, government and order and with a desire to be biblical in all things, we commit ourselves to the governmental pattern of the New Testament.
